Dig Deep and Release Your Past so you can move Forward!!!

Did you know that we all have a past(pain) that effects our life daily? Can you think back to where yours first started? Well I can.(age 10). The only way to move forward is to dig yourself out of your past and go back to where it all started.  We have heard many times in life to let the past go, however, it's best at this time because you are on a journey to HEAL so lets revisit and bury that hatchet. Please....lets have conversation, LETS TALK REAL TALK. Stay tuned for more of my story!!!

  1. I would have to say it started at age 12 but I wasn't willing to work on the situation until I was 20 years old. It's been a bumpy journey with daily struggles but anything worth having is worth working for.

  2. For me it started at age 6. Unfortunately, I have a great memory and can visual events in great detail back to when I was the age of 3. I didn't realized how affected I was by those events until I was 27, going through a divorce and having a nervous breakdown. Better late then never, I guess. But now I have developed some tools for working through those things. But it is a daily journey.

  3. I have to say that if we do not deal with our past, we cant move forward and if we think we can, we are fooling ourselves. We will carry the baggage(s) with us until we get to a point in life where we have to deal with it and then Healing will begin and we can have a Real relationships. I was around 12 when my hurt started and it caused me to hurt other people until I recognized where it came from and dealt with it. I am a work in progress. Thank God.

  4. The Past and Pain, how can we release what has been buried within us for so long? Pray, I guess, Hope, I guess. I always ask GOD to give me mental and physical strength to overcome any negative obstacles set before me. I am weak when it comes to emotions sometimes because I have such a BIG heart. We were taught as men to control our emotions and not let anyone see the tears that accompany the pain to simply cover up and stay strong. As a man I try stay strong for my kids and use my pain to teach them how to handle life occurrences. Meaning, I don't hold anything from the past in anger but I use it to teach myself and to become a better person. I will carry the pain to promote LOVE and UNDERSTANDING simply to help me move FORWARD!!!
